Anchor Bay Music - About Us


	From the age of reason to the age of rebellion The Anchor Bay Children's Choir accepts children from age 4 to age 15. Bay Choir is for beginners, 4-7. Anchor Choir is for intermediate level singers 8-14. Anchor 2 is for advanced level singers 10-14. ABCC is affiliated with the award-winning Piedmont Children's Choir.

	The program and the music The curriculum includes basic music theory: symbol identification, treble clef note names, and rhythm symbols and concepts. Keyboard ID and solfege are studied. The music selection is diverse, adult friendly, and geared towards beauty, fun, and the promotion of healthy vocal technique. See the last song list:

	Booking the choir ABCC is available for 5 to 20 min. performances in southern Mendocino or northern Sonoma county. Contact us here.

ABOUT US

The Anchor Bay Children's Choir, was founded in 2004 by Bay Area musician and composer Sue Bohlin. Sue's music for treble choirs is available at Santa Barbara Music Publishing. ABCC has performed at Gualala Arts Center, St. Paul's Music For a Sunday Afternoon Concert Series, Cypress Village, Sea Ranch Barn, Surf Super, Sea Ranch Lodge, Manchester Grange, Blue Canoe Cafe, Manchester Elementary, Dragon's Breath Theater, Arena Theater, and at Piedmont Choir's Spring Sing in Oakland, California. Currently, its members come from The Sea Ranch to Manchester. Anchor Bay Children's Choir is a member of the Redwood Coast Chamber of Commerce.
